Thank you Gator families for such a wonderful summer swim season. It feels a little sad that it’s over, but we’ve got Fall and Spring Clinics to fill the void. (Stay tuned for detail).
The swimmer file box has been moved into the Lifeguards office at the pool. Why do you care?
– If you missed the banquet, your swimmer has items waiting for them.
– If you were at the banquet, but didn’t get your stuff, head to the pool!
– If you were at State, your medals/ribbons are in!
– If you are a male in the upper division, you will for sure ignore this. Send your parent to the pool!
See you next summer (if not earlier). Go Gators!
State Entries
Preliminary state information was sent via email. Please check and respond as needed. If you did not get an email, but you think you should have, please email ethan.schick@gmail.com.
League Shoutout
Excellent job to all the swimmers who participated in league today! We had many outstanding time drops, some new state qualifiers, broken records, and nail biter relay wins. All of the hard work paid off and we beat out Golden for 3rd place!
I have league ribbons, so they will be sorted and available for pickup at the banquet Wednesday. Kayli and I are doing state entries tomorrow, so check your email or phone because we can fill relays if they have at least one state qualifier, so we will pull some swimmers for just relays. Entries are due Monday at noon, so we will be as quick as we can and finish the entries for review. We will see state qualifiers and relay swimmers for practice on Monday! Upper division 7-8, 12 and under 8-9.
Huge congratulations again! Your hard work paid off!
Team Banquet + State Week
Week of 7/24 (as we wind down and also ramp up!) Congrats to our League Swimmers! Well done everyone.
Summary:
Monday: State Meet Practice Times (see below)
Wednesday: Team Banquet @ 5:30pm
Fri-Sun: State Meet
Details:
State practice this week:
7:00-8:00 am: 13 and older
8:00-9:00am: 12 and under
Banquet: We have our end of the season Team Banquet on Wednesday night (rain or shine). This is a wonderful time to honor all our swimmers and reward them for their hard work this season. We will have awards, certificates, ribbons, trophies, medals and more! The team will provide pizza and water/lemonade. Each family should bring a dish to share….
Last Names A-L: side dish / Last Names M-Z: Dessert.
The coaches will be dressed to impress and many of the swimmers like to dress up too. For everyone else, flip flops and t-shirts are excellent choices. If you cannot make the banquet, please let us know and we will make sure your swimmer file is updated with any awards your swimmer couldn’t pick up that night.
State Meet:
Entries for State are due on Monday by noon. If your swimmer is qualified and can’t swim, please let the coaches know ASAP. The age groups and times of the events are a little strange this year, so please check the right side of the blog for your swimmers day/time/location to stay up to date. We will need timers for the meet at each session. I will post the sign-up genius as soon as we are given our team assignments.
Meet Location: Ken Caryl Pool
7676 S Continental Divide Littleton 80127
Facility: 8 Lane Pool, 25 Short Course Meters, Outdoors
Meet Results: They will be using SwimTopia to run the meet. (This is different than Simmingly that was used at our AAC meet). Our team does not use SwmTopia, but we can still use the app as a guest. Please use the link below to access further information. They will also post results on StateMeet.com and all results will be posted to the Gator blog (per usual).

Tomorrow (7/21) practice reminders
Reminder upper division will late start at 7 am tomorrow. If that schedule prohibitive, I will be there by 6:30 to let people in. Also, if you are interested in doing sharpie decorations (e.g writing “eat my bubbles” on your back, drawing a gator, and/or applying temporary tattoos) for league, that will happen after practice. Bring a marker if you have one. We have some, but the more the better!
