Weekend Domination!

Gators I am so proud of all of you, and I cannot thank you all enough for the support this weekend!  You made it such a smooth and wonderful meet, and I would like to give a huge thank you to Lance Carpenter for being a wonderful fill-in coach (Coach Rich and Josh better be careful, he may be taking their spots)! We had so many awesome swims and swimmers qualify for league and state, keep up the good work because it is definitely paying off.

I wanted to send out a friendly reminder that we have an intrasquad meet on Wednesday, and we are swimming at Applewood Knolls on Saturday.  We started sign-ups today at practice, and it would be really nice to have everyone signed up by tomorrow for the intrasquad, and for Saturday we need to submit entries Thursday night, so the last day to sign up so that you can be on a relay will be Wednesday. Thank you! See you all tomorrow and don’t blow away with the wind today!

Week 2

In Week 2 of the Foothills Swim Asociation 2012 season the Gators look to continue their perfect season and reach 2-0. To ensure that the Gators swim fast and have a great meet please make sure to be at the swamp for the 6:00am warm-up. Both Coach Josh and Rich will not be in attendace so Shelby will be on her own. Please try and help her my making it to the heating shed on time. The meet entries are posted to the right and they are posted at the pool, take a look and write your events down for tomorrow.

Good Luck

OTA

Gators,
I hope you all not getting blown away by the wind. We will start night practice today for upper division and any parents that want to jump in. Practice will start at 8:00pm weather permitting please show up early to help set up so that we can get started right at 8:00.

Remember to sign up for Saturday if you haven’t yet.

"Riding The Storm Out"

Well the weather stopped the Gators, but the Mt. Vernon couldn’t. Congratulations to all the swimmers who helped us start out the season 1 and 0. I think the only swimmer that would say they had a bad meet would be Shelby’s cell phone. That thing went down faster than the parent relay. Although we saw lots of great swims today we are excited to get back into the pool Monday and work on some of the details. Enjoy your day off, see you Monday.

Coach Rich

P.S. Big props to anyone that can tell me the artist of “Riding The Storm Out” and where it was written

Hi All,

I Look forward to seeing all the parents at the meeting tonight at 6:30.  Just a reminder we will be trying to meet in the heating area so that we can all hear each other.

Also remember if you are swimming tomorrow be sure to bring warm clothes it will be cold up there.

See you soon
Rich
